Description

Prepare the students to be managers with the comprehensive knowledge of information systems. The unit covers information system concepts, information and communication technology, database, system development and system security and ethics.

Competencies  : After finishing the unit you are expected to be able

1. to choose the appropriate information technology to your business needs
2. to participate and contribute  in system development projects
3. to lead the simple system development project
4. to concern to ethics in information system decision making

TENTATIVE GRADING POLICY:

Tentative allocation of points.  Depending on time available I may remove some assignments.  In the event that this happens, those points will simply be subtracted from the total available for the class.

Midterm: up to 10 points
Group Presentation 20 points

Article (essay) writing; 20 points
Final exam: 30 points
Participation/home exercise up to10 points
At home exercises: up to 10 points

 

Group Presentation

You have to work in group of 2 students based on lecturing topics

 

Article (Essay Wring)

You have to choose your own topics in information systems conduct a study literature and write an essay article. The length of the essay is about 2000 words. Print in A4 Paper; 1.5 spece, use Times New Roman Font, 12 Size. Due at final exam time.
